I was so saddened to think I couldn’t use this carrier after having my little one. I took a shot at seeing if there was a way to extend the carrier and was delighted to see that the designers had plus-size moms/dads in mind. The extender is very comfortable and I’m enjoying having my hands free again.

My husband and babe! For comparison because I know sometimes that’s easier to tell if it’s truly an extender or not. This is the only carrier with extender that we could find that work’s amazingly for both of us! My husband was so bummed to not be able to use one so this was a true selling point. This fits him COMFORTABLY! There’s room to extend this more if needed as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I am a Grandmother caring for our grand child while the parents work. I have recently had back surgery the belt extender help the carrier fit better. We have tried other carriers but our little one doesn’t like them. The Honeyroo is different since he is sitting his legs are not being cut into with the the carrier and at the stage the baby is in loves turned forward to see what’s happening. I love it. It is great support for my back but not stressful on my hips.

Should have bought this originally. I’m a 3xl and this makes the Honeyroo way more comfortable and easy to use!!

Does exactly what it says. Great way to add a little extra length to the waist belt and makes wearing the carrier much more comfortable.

It all looks great. I purchased for my granddaughter and they haven't used it yet. But, I'm sure it will be used a lot when summer comes.

I love this carrier, but I wish the velcro was reversed - the hook side facing to my body has ruined a couple of shirts :(

The extender belt is perfect for dads who have the traditional dad bod! My wife bought the carrier and I noticed how much my daughter loved it so I immediately went and bought the extender.

I LOVE this carrier except for one thing. The regular belt around the waist fits me but the padding piece does not. I would make due with that but they have the picky part of the Velcro facing in, which means any part not completely velcroed causes snags in the clothes. So I bought the extender piece which has to much addition (as I am perfectly smack to big and to small) so it has extra length just hanging loose or I still have Velcro ruining my clothes. Idk what to do because it works so well. My recommendation would be for the company to flip the Velcro sides around.

This has been an amazing carrier; I'm so glad I purchased it! I would highly recommend this carrier to everyone! I originally bought this carrier for me to use when I'm there helping with my granddaughter. Mom and dad already had a carrier they were using. It was one of the traditional ones where the baby is basically "hanging" and all of their weight is "hanging" from your shoulders, affecting your neck, shoulders, back, etc. However, I wanted/needed one that would actually physically support both the baby and myself. So, after much research, I opted to purchase this Honeyroo Joey Classic. I have absolutely NO regrets! Things I love about this carrier: 1) The quality; this carrier is very well built, great quality, and worth every penny I spent! 2) The fit; so many ways to adjust this carrier so that it fits EVERYONE, regardless of their weight or height! 3) The support; this carrier provides unbelievable support to my back, neck, and shoulders and has been a huge blessing! 4) The weight distribution; amazing! 5) So quick and easy to put on! 6) So quick and easy to modify to either support, hold, or carry your baby/toddler (there are so many ways to use this product)! 7) As my grandaughter has grown, she is clearly way more comfortable in this carrier, as she is sitting, rather than "hanging". She's willing to stay in this carrier as long as we need her to, as opposed to her other carrier where she would only stay in it for short periods of time. Needless to say, her parents have fallen in love with the Honeyroo as well, for all of the same reasons I have and have since gotten rid of their original carrier and are using "my" Honeyroo full-time now! Highly recommend!!!

As a plus size woman it is so hard to find a carrier that fits comfortably. To have found honeyroos Joey classic carrier was great! To know they had a belt extender which I knew I would need was even better. Easy to attach and comfortable to wear

A must have. Literally, the belt on the carrier runs small. But besides that, it’s built well and I’m glad they offer it.

I absolutely love this carrier!! I feel no pull and I know she is comfortable. The belt extension is prefect because now everyone can Carry her. I'm 5'5 size 24, my husband is 6'4 size 58, and my mom is 5'3 size 32.

So easy to use, and so glad to find something that works for my husband to carry our baby. They both love it!

I wear a 16 to 20 depending on brand. So while I can use the HoneyRoo without this extender, it's more comfortable to me, and I feel more secure with the extender. Without it the belt that velcros has about a 3 inch gap, but there is plenty of length on the strap that clips in. So it isn't required for me to be able to use the carrier as intended, but I feel more comfortable having it than not. If you're plus size, and you struggle finding a carrier that fits right, just stop the search now and order the HoneyRoo with the Plus Size extender. You won't regret it!

Love the extender so my husband can carry our little too! He couldn’t with our cloth version and now he takes every opportunity to carry her around :)

We have went through so many carriers until we found the honeyroo and our son absolutely loves it. I couldn’t say enough positive things about it. He’s comfortable and there is so much space to hold your phone, bottle etc.

This is the best carrier I’ve ever dealt with!! So easy to put on and baby is secure. I never feel like that are going to fall out of the carrier. It’s been such a huge relief as it doesn’t make my lower back hurt at all!!

My son LOVES being in the carrier when we go places! He can still explore even when facing in!

This is an amazing carrier! So affordable and the quality is outstanding. I love that I can use it with my 18 month old and my 6 month old. With my daughter when she was a newborn up to about 4 months I used a wrap. It was wonderful having her so close, and she loved it as well, but it would make my shoulders and back hurt so bad after about a half hour. My son hated the wrap. He never seemed to be comfortable in it. This carrier has changed that. He loves being carried now! My daughter also loves that I can carrier her again! I’m plus size and I ordered the carrier without the extender. It fit and it was still more comfortable then a wrap but I did order the extender a week after. It makes it even more comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about this carrier!!

Both my husband and I are plus size and this carrier works amazing! I didn’t think my husband would use it but since baby boy loves it so much, it makes the days easier and trips to stores much more calm. I tried other carriers but he did not like them at all because I think he felt squished. The seat gives him his own space! And it is comfortable to walk around for a number of hours. We pretty much don’t leave home without it! Got it for our upcoming flights and trip but it is getting use almost daily!!

The buckles on the extender were not correct but the customer service gave us a video for how to change it.

I love it but now I have to get another belt extender because the one I have seems like the wrong piece it won’t fit in the actual carrier belt piece. I would really love to be able to use my carrier

I am a plus size mom and every carrier I have tried didn’t work for me. While the honeyroo won’t close unless I have the extension, with the extension it DOES close. It’s comfortable and works amazing.

I love the honey roo my son loves it as well he just sits in it for hours when we walk around the zoo or a park

I was hesitant because I'm a big gal. But with the belt extender the item fit perfectly and I felt my baby was secure. Baby even loves traveling in it 10/10 would recommend.

We love the honeyroo! It’s so easy to put on and the pockets make you totally hands free while out and about. We love that it can be forward or rear facing and you can do front or back carrying based on baby’s age. So glad I purchased.

The buckle doesn't hold tight and the velcro would be better flipped so it didn't rub against me

This is 100% worth the money. My son only wants me to stand and walk around holding him and this carrier has been a life and back saver. It truly feels like I'm not even wearing him!

Love it so far. Only issue we’ve had is the zipper that connects the shoulder straps came completely undone while on a hike with the baby inside the roo. Luckily the snaps that go long with the zipper stayed connected and nothing further happened. I wish the belt extension came with the roo it self rather than having to order separately.

My daughter loves being carried in the Honeyroo! I was apprehensive because I'm plus size, but the extension is wonderful! This makes it so much easier to do more with my baby!
